Regenerative Scientist

Meet Tim DeLorey, Ph.D.

Tim DeLorey, Ph.D., has had an extensive research career in the Life Sciences, marked by tenures at prestigious institutions such as UAB, UCLA, Stanford, and the Molecular Research Institute. With a profound passion for understanding the intricacies of the human condition, he has delved into groundbreaking research areas, including epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, autism, and neurodevelopment. Over his career, Dr. DeLorey has secured many research grants, authored numerous peer-reviewed papers and book chapters, and lectured internationally, earning recognition and honors for his contributions to the field.
Over the past 25 years, Dr. DeLorey has become captivated by the emerging science of epigenetics, an innovative perspective illuminating how our internal and external environment shapes our genetic functioning and, consequently, our well-being. By observing how this intricate interplay between internal and external factors influences human health, we can partner with this ‘Natural Intelligence’ to regenerate one’s well-being. By adopting this perspective, Dr. DeLorey believes we can employ methods inherent to biohacking (internal) and permaculture (external) to regenerate the true nature of health. This understanding allows us to shift away from the outdated 20th Century Medical mindset of treating the symptoms of poor health to a more enlightened 21st Century Health mindset that seeks to address how health issues arise in the first place. With a wealth of knowledge and an unwavering commitment to advancing the understanding of human well-being, Dr. DeLorey continues to pave the way toward a holistic and enlightened approach to well-being.
